What's InkFoundry? Check it out [here](https://inkfoundry.net/) I can't count the number of times I've been told that our collective attention spans have gotten shorter. I believed it for a little while, but mostly because I tend to hyperfixate for weeks, months, even years at a time and everyone seems constantly distracted in comparison. But then I joined about twenty Discord servers during COVID, trying to keep sane and distract myself, leapfrogging with friends into dozens of new communities dedicated to games, books, comics, woodworking, cooking, etc., etc., etc... And I realized that it's not that our attention span is shorter. If anything, people are more _concentrated_ than ever before. We have never had more choice when it comes to entertainment, and we have more opportunity than ever to fixate on what it is, exactly, that we're looking for. And there's a great mine of quality content out there: Short stories. They're beautiful. They're ugly. They're wonderful and wicked. They're ordinary. They're strange. And they're out there in archives, waiting to be found by the exact reader that wants them. That needs them. _What_ they want or need, I have absolutely no idea. I'm not looking for hurt/comfort stories about sentient cities but wouldn't it be wonderful if someone was, and they had someplace to go to find it? If you've got a narrative itch to scratch, head on over to InkFoundry.net. If it's not up there now, stay tuned. It's only a matter of time.
